UNARTICULATED TOPOGRAPHY

The University of New South Wales, Sydney

Unarticulated Topography is an adaptive reuse of a long-abandoned high-profile industrial building White Bay Power Station in Sydney. Detailed site mapping was calibrated to develop sophisticated architectural interventions. Research tests the veracity of propositions that explore both the imaginative power and sustainability of the design. The configured spaces convey architectural quality in terms of material, light and elemental experience.
